Last Christmas, my mom gave me a giftcard to Loaves and Fishes Cookshop (you may know it from the many trips Barefoot Contessa herself makes there on her Food Network show… although the one I go to is not “THE” loves and fishes). I discovered that my card had expired, but since I had a whopping $91.00 left on it, the kind people at L&F decided to extend me the courtesy of using the balance today only. Oh pitty, I guess I had to spend a lot on cooking and baking stuff. Here’s my booty:
- A ceramic pie plate
- a tart pan
- one of those fancy skimmers all the food network people take the pasta out of the pot with… aka a skimmer
- a new can opener
- a pastry bag set
- a pastry blender
- a bottle of mineral oil to clean my cutting board and teak salad set
- some linzer tart cutters
